Art Direction - Tal Amitai & Marlein Overakker

Tal Amitai and Marlein Overakker are one of the most committed art directors I have ever been working with. Honor is not enough to show their eager and passionate way of creating six life size boys out of 400 kilograms of marzipan. I want to thank them hearty for even living during the two weeks before the shooting without tabwater and electricity, working long nights by candle light in one of the empty buildings of Beelitz Heilstaetten. It is a very spooky historical place, where they went through all adventures with love for the marzipan creatures, needless to mention that I call them the "parents of the marzipan boys".
